GOD IS AWESOME!
The encouraging word of the day is Psalms 1:1. Read Below!
"Blessed is the one who does not walk in step with the wicked or stand in the way that sinners take or sit in the company of mockers." NIV Even though we live in such an evil world there are standards and boundaries that God wants us to use. We follow what he asks of us not just to be blessed but, so we may also separate ourselves from the wicked, the sinners, and the mockers. Who would want to be known as a corrupt, unpleasant, wrongdoer anyways? Not me. The next step to take after realizing you don’t want to be around “those type of people,” then it's time to take your commitment into your daily life. Whether you are with a group of friends or just sitting among strangers, pay attention to your surroundings. Pay attention to the wicked who walk past you, the sinners that secretly stand among you, and to the mockers who you may be sitting right next to. We must protect our spirits from the evil in this world for they love to hide in the shadows. But if you do find yourself around “those type of people,” make it your purpose to influence them first before they influence you. There were many times Jesus lived his life being surrounded by “those type of people.” He ate with them, and spoke with them but, most importantly he told them about the love, grace, and mercy that His father gives. Jesus is the biggest influencer the world has ever seen, it is our mission to reflect Jesus and be an influence to the wicked, the sinners, and the mockers. As a reminder, don't forget to protect your spirit and influence people for Christ! This is Sydney saying goodbye and see you next time!

Encouraging Word Of The Day
The encouraging word of the day is Psalms 28:7! Read Below!!!!! “The Lord is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.” Psalms 28:7 is a scripture that when all else fails and you have no where else to run, take this scripture and hold it near and dear to your heart so that you may become encouraged and strengthened. The beginning of this verse is a promise from the Lord that he will always have a “force field” wrapped around each and every one of us. The rest of the verse is for us, the reader, to speak and declare about how great God is in our own lives. We must trust the Lord with every bone in our body. When the Lord helps us our spirit becomes joyful. When all is said and done it is a form of worship and praise to thank the Lord for everything he has done for us. God is deserving of all the glory, all the praise, and all the honor! This scripture has a strong meaning in my life. You’re probably wondering why. That is because I had to learn to trust God even when my life seemed to be at a pause. In this portion of my life, I am a college student. As I was preparing for my next semester of school I had planned all of my classes and handed in all of my paperwork, ready to go. I found out the cost of all my classes and unfortunately the finances to pay for the classes that day were not made available. Of course it is normal human nature to be upset when things don’t go your way. So, here I was upset that I had a goal to pursue my educational life and was unable to make my goal possible. By the next day the Lord encouraged me to keep my trust in him. That same day I stayed positive and kept my faith in God and believed that he can make the impossible, possible! By the end of the day I received a phone call from a family member saying that they were willing to pay for my first 2 school payments! At this moment my heart was filled with joy! I burst out in songs of thanksgiving, and I praised the name of the Lord!!! If the Lord was able to make a way in my time of need, then surely he will for you! This is Sydney saying goodbye and see you next time! Scripture Of The Day

The encouraging word of the day is Nehemiah 8:10. Read Below! "Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the Lord is your strength." Just coming out of years of bondage for their disobedience, the children of Israel just heard the Law for the first time in a long time. They realized they had neglected God's word and his ways and felt condemned, causing them to weep. However Ezra, the priest, encouraged them to not mourn or cry but instead to rejoice for God has reconnected himself back with his children. When we are foolish and have disregarded God then decide to connect back with him we should celebrate for God is grateful when his children come running back into his loving arms. His word is always available and He is always willing to reunite with His children. So if you have found yourself walking away from your Heavenly Father, turn around and come back for your Father wants to spend more time with you. Remember His joy is your strength! The encouraging word of the day is Isaiah 41:10! Read Below!!!!! "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." This scripture is a reminder to all who are fearful and scared. With God on our side he strengthens us and holds us up with his right hand. So as we continue to live our lives we should live it as if there is nothing to be afraid of!
